Before “I Do”: A Picnic Film with Marjorie & Cameron at Moncus Park

A Stroll Through Moncus Park: Love in Motion

There’s something beautiful about documenting love outside the hustle of a wedding day. No schedule, no stress—just two people slowing down to be together.

We spent an afternoon with Marjorie and Cameron at Moncus Park in Lafayette for a session that felt like a moving love letter. It wasn’t a formal engagement shoot—more like a date captured on film. A laid-back, romantic snapshot of life before the big day.

They brought a soft blanket and styled a wooden board with wine, cheese, crackers, and flowers. The kind of setup that feels effortlessly charming. As they poured each other glasses of wine, shared grapes, and fed ducks by the water, it was clear how comfortable and connected they are. Every laugh, glance, and quiet moment felt like something worth remembering.

Moncus Park, Lafayette

Moncus Park gave us the perfect setting: tree-lined paths, wide open skies, and a few curious ducks who made their way into the story. It’s one of those places where it’s easy to forget the world around you—and that made it ideal.

Wedding Coming Soon

Marjorie and Cameron are tying the knot on July 26th, and we’re honored to be capturing their wedding day on video. If this session was any indication, their day will be full of intentional moments, quiet joy, and deep connection—and we can’t wait to film it all.
