A Black-Tie Wedding Day at Hotel Peter and Paul with a Second Line to Broussard’s
A New Orleans Wedding Rooted in Soul & Style
Brayden and Hunter's wedding day unfolded with intention, elegance, and emotion—starting within the historic walls of Hotel Peter and Paul. With antique gold accents, heirloom-inspired details, and the quiet anticipation of a private vow reading, the day began with meaning before momentum.
Brayden shared a tearful first look with her dad in a quiet corridor before walking to meet Hunter for their own moment together. As they exchanged vows privately before the ceremony, the film team captured what words alone couldn’t: a connection that felt deep-rooted and entirely their own.
A Ceremony Framed in Light & Love
Their ceremony took place beneath soft curtains and golden hour light, accompanied by a live string performance of “Yellow” by Coldplay. With blessings, scripture from Genesis, and a heartfelt prayer by Reverend Allen, the moment was sacred without being too formal. The recessional to “Married Life” from Up sealed it all with sentiment and smiles.
From Second Line to Champagne Toasts
After being pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Bramlett, Brayden and Hunter led their guests in true New Orleans fashion—through the streets with Kinfolk Brass Band for a jubilant second line down to Broussard’s. Guests waved handkerchiefs, danced in the street, and cheered for the newlyweds as the sun dipped behind the city skyline.
Cocktail hour awaited with espresso martinis (for her) and Coors Light (for him) before guests were ushered into a reception space glowing with candlelight and personal touches. Speeches from Brayden and Hunter’s closest friends and family brought the room to tears and laughter—especially heartfelt words from their co-best men and co-maids of honor.
A Candlelit Celebration to Close the Night
After dinner, their first dance and parent dances kicked off the night. Brayden and Hunter made a quick outfit change before hitting the dance floor again, and guests lined up with glow sticks and silver streamers for a mess-free but memorable grand exit.
This day was beautifully curated by Spanish Oak Events and filled with the kind of energy, tenderness, and celebration that defines a truly unforgettable New Orleans wedding.
