Sydney and Mark’s wedding day in Lake Charles was the perfect reflection of Southern charm and modern refinement. From their heartfelt vows at First United Methodist Church to the unforgettable celebration at CMNB, every detail felt timeless and intentional—a day filled with light, laughter, and the people who mean the most to them.

The morning began in the CMNB bridal suite, where Sydney and her bridesmaids shared mimosas, laughter, and the calm anticipation that only a wedding morning brings. Hair by Looks by Lexi and makeup by Kristine Alcantara enhanced each natural moment—a touch of glow, a soft curl, and a sense of quiet excitement.

As guests gathered beneath the stained-glass windows of First United Methodist Church, the notes of “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” filled the air. Sydney entered with her parents to the joyful sound of “Procession Alegre”—a moment that held stillness and awe all at once. With heartfelt readings, live musicians, and a blessing by Brother Weldon, their ceremony was deeply meaningful, closing with the triumphant “Allegro Maestoso.”

The celebration continued at CMNB, transformed by Paradise Florist into a lush courtyard filled with candlelight, greenery, and the soft glow of gold accents. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour sound-tracked by live guitar and bass before the newlyweds made their entrance to “For Once in My Life” performed by Three37 Band.

Dinner featured an incredible spread from raw and charbroiled oysters to lobster-mac, beef tenderloin, and a lemon-cream cake by Sweet Chic. As the night carried on, the courtyard filled with laughter, dancing, and the sounds of “September” and “Dancing in the Moonlight.”

Sydney and Mark ended their evening surrounded by family and friends, exiting through a shower of petals before riding off beneath the city lights—a perfect close to a classic Louisiana celebration.
